Kinzie Brokerage & Builders were retained by a private equity group who purchased the failed Planned Unit Development. At the time of our hiring, the property consisted of 32 townhomes, 19 of which had been completed and sold to individual owners. The remaining 13 units were at stud stage. In addition, the property contained a partially improved pad for another eight-unit building. We successfully worked with the HOA and the City of Evanston to extend the PUD licenses allowing us to complete unfinished infrastructure and sell the remaining 13 units in Phase I, and build and sell the remaining eight-unit townhome building in Phase II.
