This bank-owned estate situated on 11 acres in Barrington, while in good condition overall, had several significant deferred maintenance issues, including water damage from improperly installed flashing around French doors at the rear of the home. The bank hired us to inspect the home, repair the significant deferred maintenance issues that were negatively affecting its market value, and sell the home. We successfully completed the assignment and sold the home for a net gain to our client of $250,000 over the appraised value.
