We were hired to manage, list and sell this historic bank-owned home designed by David Adler. The home was in poor condition with significant deferred maintenance issues, including water penetration and mold. Additionally, it was protected by a Landmarks Easement, which required approval from the Landmarks Committee prior to performing any work on the home. We successfully worked with the Historic Preservation Committee to stabilize the home, make repairs to the structure, and improve cosmetic issues that most affected its potential market value. Because of our efforts, the bank realized a net gain of more than $400,000 over its appraised value.
